Material Change for 130/150 Series Actuator Couplings

Change effective date: April 27th, 2022

As part of our continuous improvement efforts, the material for the 130/150 series coupling will change from steel/cadmium plating and 304 stainless steel to dual certified 316/316L stainless steel effective immediately. This affects the couplings used on 130 and 150 series actuators for 40/40G, 83, SK, AFS, and 60 series valve product lines and will make the 130/150 series coupling material consistent with that used for ISO 5211 actuator couplings.

This change will have no impact on fit or function of the product and improves the selected material to the more corrosion-resistant dual-certified stainless steel. The installation instructions are not affected.
