Metal in Motion
Metal in Motion – FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology)
Robotics Team 343 is a group of students that have learned and practiced new skills while building a competitive robot that was a quarterfinalist at the South Carolina Palmetto Regionals.
Swagelok Georgia | Jacksonville | South Carolina continually supports the STEM programs within our schools and our partnership with our industry professional's involvement in these programs.
Jim Littlefield, an associate with one of our clients, Sandvik, happens to be a mentor for Metal in Motion. He is leading these young students to be science & technology leaders and innovators by engaging in a mentorship-based program that builds science, engineering & technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, & leadership.
Due to COVID-19, the students have several types of virtual competition coming up including Game Design Challenge, Infinite Recharge at Home, and Innovation Challenge.
Our sales representative, Dan Dupler, gladly accepted a plaque in honor of our continued sponsorship with Metal in Motion.
